Aiding the community is an inseparable part of our vision at Clal Finance Group, since to give and to receive are two sides of the same coin. We are committed to working to narrow the gaps in Israeli society as well as to promote social and cultural goals in the community in which we live.
Additionally, Clal Finance employees are proud to volunteer in collecting food and groceries for `Assif Haair` and `Lasova`. These two non-profit organizations collect food from diners and restaurants for soup kitchens that cater to the homeless, poor and the elderly in the Tel-Aviv area.
Clal has also organized a fund-raising campaign jointly with `Matan - Your Way to Give`, that offers business enterprises a variety of opportunities for community involvement. Matan`s goal is to increase the resources invested in the community and to enhance the relationship between the business sector and non-profit organizations in a joint effort to build a better society.
With generous contributions from Clal employees, and management commitments to double contributions, additional funds have been raised this year. These funds have been invested in programs to assist adults and children, new immigrants and the elderly, the mentally frail and victims of sexual attacks, people who have fallen on hard times and groups in distress, long-term care patients and more. |
